Why do people line up???Do they think they are getting $100.00. It can't be for the food. This place must go around to the dumpsters of other restaurants and pillage left-overs, then add 5 pounds of salt and re-serve it. What garbage.
When we are ever in Etobicoke we go to Mamma Martinos. Love the atmosphere and the family are great. Younger staff sometimes look like they want to be elsewhere but no different from other teens.
Had a retirement function there and it was great. Everyone enjoyed it.
Love the bustle and only have been treated with upmost respect. the food is like comfort food to us.
We love taking new people to experience the flavour of the restaurant and the food. Great value !!!!!

Mamma Martino's has been on our must eat list for well over 15 years now. We try to go monthly. We love the atmosphere, the staff, the neighbourhood feel....and of course the price!! The portions are massive, we usually end up taking it all home for the next day! The lineup is part of the atmosphere, and we usually dine around it, although we have stood in line for a well worth meal!
It really is not worth waiting in line for an hour - especially after we were told 20 minutes. The food was not bad but the atmosphere leaves alot to be desired. We can go to alot of other places and pay the same price for so much more - including honesty. It was the First time and Last time we will eat there.
